Despite a spirited performance, the Nakuru Bucks U17 narrowly lost 2-3 to Kaptembwa FC in FKF Nakuru West Sub County League match held at ASK Showground.

Jeremy Magata scored his first goal of the league in the 32nd minute of the game.Despite of the spirited effort for a win,Bromley JR’s last minute strike wasn’t enough to secure a point for Nakuru Bucks.

Coach Kennedy Owino expressed his pride in the boy’s effort, saying, “I’m proud of how my players performed today. They showed resilience and teamwork, and with a bit more clinical finishing, we could have turned this game around.” Owino, a former striker for KPL side KCB and Wazito, took note of the need to improve in front of goal, promising to work on their finishing.

The lads are optimistic of better performance in upcoming fixtures despite the second straight loss in the league debut.
