Our stars resumed league action on Sunday after the recently concluded Rausha Kipaji tournament.
They took on Githima Youth F.C in what can be described as an exciting clash. The stars dominated proceedings in the first 20 minutes as they gave the opponents defense a handful of trouble before the visitors scored from the half way line. Shortly after conceding the first, the hosts still created chances however the crossbar was not on their side as Kamau Waiganjo whipped in a free kick from distance that had the goal keeper shocked. The visitors added a second a few minutes before the half time break.
After a talk from the coaches, the players came in to the second half looking like a different team and managed to pull one back through a goal from Imran who continues to find his goal scoring form. Our wingers had their fullbacks on the edge as they skillfully dribbled past the defense as Bromley had a shot that went off the post. The stars gave their all as the final whistle blew to end in a 2-1 defeat for Nakuru Bucks fc academy. Attention shifts to Sunday as we face Nakuru Railways at the Railways Grounds.
