Nakuru Bucks FC head into Round Twenty of the FKF Division 1 Zone C 2025-26 season with a trip to Nyanza, Western Kenya. The team will face Bondo United at Bondo Stadium in what promises to be a thrilling return leg encounter.
Building on the momentum from last Sunday’s hard fought 2-1 victory at home against Suna West, the Bucks are optimistic about continuing their winning streak. The players are eager to carry this form into Saturday’s match.
On paper, the Bucks have had the upper hand against Bondo United, maintaining an unbeaten record in previous encounters with the first leg ending 1-0 win at home in Afraha Stadium. Courtesy of a goal by the clubs all time goal scorer Bujji Birunda. The last meeting at Bondo Stadium on 7th April 2024 ended in a narrow 0-1 victory for the Bucks. With former Bucks player Collins Ambundo breaking the deadlock in the later stages of the match..

Coach Francis Ochollah will pick a strong squad that is expected to represent as well in Bondo. The coach is confident in his players and is hopeful for a positive result that will keep the Bucks firmly in the race for promotion to NSL.

Bondo United this season has been a bit weak, being one of the bottom 3 teams on the table, they lost they’re last home game to Kona Rangers and this weekend maybe they’re looking to get results infront of their home fans, it won’t be an easy fixtures for us but depending on how we’ve played recent games, I think we’ll have an upper hand against them, although we have poor away performances this season, I’m hopefull we will get all three points!!
Come on you Bucks 🧡
